Little Creatures From The Heavens

Who doesn't love art? Art comes in all forms. And these little figures are made right there in front of you in Paper Mache, lovingly hand sculptured. There is a wire centre for basic form, then layer upon layer upon layer of tiny paper pieces are attached, and it is all finished off with a sealing glaze. It is not an instant process, each piece takes a while to make, sorry I'm not sure how long, I should have asked, but I was too busy picking up the figures and smiling. There is one that catches my heart everytime, a dog, and you can see it on the blanket, to the left side. The dog has personality for sure, he is leaning forward, he has purpose and he is ready to roll. You can find Jesus Moreta in a number of places in and around Melbourne creating his creatures; I have always seen him in Elizabeth St working away.
