Stillness Comes To Town

And instantly I am transported to somewhere like Mexico, Spain or any of many other hot destinations in the world. The brilliant blue cloudless sky framing the industrial building, creates the clean feeling of desolation, as if a mysterious disease recently swept the town, all the people quietly leaving, only the town framework left standing. The sadness thick but invisible for a day until the sun shone bright and dried up all such emotion, leaving only stillness in its place. It is the strangest thing this town has ever seen. At exactly midday and not a minute longer a well trained and very hungry dog comes striding down the road, on the hunt for his master . .
